December 15: Mighty Mujer Tri Kickoff Party - 5:30-7:30pm @ Jewel Gallery (7134 N. Mesa)
Get into the holiday spirit and kick off your commitment to Mighty Mujer Tri 2017 with a night out at the Jewel Gallery.   It's the perfect time to meet other Mighty Mujeres, ask questions, and connect with potential training buddies! Complete with drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and other mighty mujeres, this it's sure to be fun and motivating!

January 29 (Sunday):  Ride & Cycling Safety - 8:30amCrazy Cat Cyclery - Kern (2800 N. Stanton)
Learn important ride safety and bicycle maintenance checks to perform before you ride!  Bring your bike, and come ready to ride!


February 2 (Thursday): Gearing, Climbing & Descending / Tire Changing - 5:30pm @ Crazy Cat Cyclery - Airport (6625 Montana)
All you need to know about how to use your gears for climbing and descending.  Stick around for tire changing instruction and practice!  No ride at this clinic, but bring your bike to practice changing a tire.
 

February 16 (Thursday):  Mighty Mujer Tri Art en Vivo (live printing & more!) - 6pm @ Proper Printshop (800 Montana)
Join us for a fun night at Proper Printshop!  A limited edition commemorative Mighty Mujer Tri poster will be printed live!  Whole Foods will be providing snacks, and we'll have drinks and music.  Mighty Mujer bike jerseys and trisuit samples will be available to try on and order.  FACEBOOK EVENT


February 25 (Saturday): Climbing and Descending - 8:30am @ Crazy Cat Cyclery - Redd Rock (5650 N. Desert)
Learn the fundamentals for climbing and descending, and practice getting up those hills!  Bring your bike, and come ready to ride.


February 25 (Saturday):  Swim Clinic 1 - 11am & 12noon @ Memorial Park Pool (3251 Copper Avenue)
Learn proper swimming technique to ensure efficient and safe swimming. This training clinic focuses on teaching physical readiness for the water, stroke technique (includes stroke, breath and conditioning work), and safety to prevent injuries and prepare for Mighty Mujer Triathlon.  This clinic is best for beginner and intermediate swimmers. 

Swimmers will learn and practice drills to increase efficiency, gain endurance, and correct form.  Attendees will also receive printed sample workouts to take home plus access to a private Facebook group moderated by a swim coach with tips, drills, workouts, and more.  Please arrive ready to swim!  Bring goggles and a swim cap.  REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED & SPACE IS LIMITED. $25 per person. REGISTER HERE.

This drills-based technical training clinic focuses on teaching stroke technique (includes stroke, breath and conditioning work), and strategies for  Mighty Mujer Triathlon. This clinic is best for beginner and intermediate swimmers. 

Swimmers will learn and practice drills to increase efficiency and speed and improve stroke technique.  Attendees will receive printed sample workouts to take home plus access to a private Facebook group moderated by a swim coach with tips, drills, workouts, and more.  Please arrive ready to swim! March 11 (Saturday):  3:30am @ Crazy Cat Cyclery - Kern (2800 N. Stanton, 2nd floor)
Learn the importance of bike fit and strength training, and how triathletes will benefit from both.  Not Mighty Mujer Tri-specific; open to everyone!
 

March 19 (Sunday): Brick Workout (bike-run), Transitions & Core Workout -  8:30am @ Crazy Cat Cyclery - Kern (2800 N. Stanton)
Practice setting up your transition area and learn about brick workouts.  Bring your bike and run gear, ready for a short workout and practice doing transitions.  Stay after the brick for a core workout with FSA Fitness + Coaching!


April 2 (Sunday):  Course Preview & USAT Rules Review- 8:30am @ Memorial Park Pool (3251 Copper)
Ride the Mighty Mujer Tri course and learn the most commonly violated USA Triathlon rules.  Bring your bike, and come ready to ride.
 

May 7 (Sunday): Ride & Interval Training - time & location TBA
Learn the basics of interval training and take your training to the next level.  Bring your bike, and come ready to ride.
